Administration of the metering infrastructure for over 2.7 million metering points in the Oltenia Energy Distribution network
Since 2009, Adrem Invest has been providing installation, verification, replacement, maintenance and administration services for metering equipment in the Oltenia Energy Distribution (DEO) network, in one of the largest projects of this type managed by the company.
The activity covers the entire operational cycle of the measurement infrastructure, from field interventions and meter installation to the verification of technical parameters, equipment configuration and management of operations associated with measurement points.
Throughout the collaboration, Adrem Invest has installed and managed over 2.2 million classic meters, contributing to the operation of the metering infrastructure for over 2.7 million consumption points in the DEO distribution area.
Since 2020, the activity has also expanded to smart metering. To date, Adrem Invest’s teams have installed over 489,000 smart meters, with activities that include the installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of equipment.
The project involves the management of a high volume of operations carried out in the field, in an extensive infrastructure, and the constant coordination of the teams involved in the installation, replacement, verification and maintenance of the measuring equipment.
Through the experience gained and the scale of the operations managed, Adrem Invest contributes both to the operation of the existing metering infrastructure and to the gradual transition to smart metering systems.

The digital transformation of electricity distribution networks requires the existence of complete databases, updated and correlated with the reality on the ground. In this context, ADREM participated in the implementation of the investment “Realization of a smart distribution system, in a homogeneous area of electricity consumers in the municipality of Galati”, providing specialized services for collecting, verifying and updating the technical data related to the energy infrastructure managed by Distribuție Energie Electrică Romania (DEER).
Modernization of connections to reduce own technological consumption (CPT) in the municipality of Râmnicu Vâlcea
The reduction of own technological consumption (CPT) and the modernization of the metering infrastructure are important objectives for electricity distribution operators. In this context, ADREM has carried out for Distribuție Energie Oltenia a project to modernize the electrical connections in the municipality of Râmnicu Vâlcea, aimed at increasing the efficiency of the network and improving the operating conditions of the metering groups.

The 110/20 kV Măgura transformer station is one of the important energy nodes for supplying consumers in the north-eastern area of Focșani. In operation since 1976, the substation serves household, commercial and industrial consumers through the 20 kV and 0.4 kV distribution networks, playing an essential role in the functioning of the local energy infrastructure.
